Proud!

Gosh am I proud of myself or what. I hate to brag, but I have just uploaded my second novel, and hopefully it will be live to buy by the morning. Excited doesn't come anywhere close. It's been something I have worked on for about two months, something to fill the void that New Fields left. After all, I have to do something on my lunch breaks! Its about a television crew at Castle Adaladora in Cassandra province, filming an episode of the highly rated "Haunted Haven's" on RRTVOne. The team, which consist's of presenter Anwyn, Director Katja, Camera man Tommy, Sound and mixer Joe, and Geeta, who deals with hair, make-up and all manner of technology. They are led around the castle by Mr Christopher Montrello, the owner and guide. He is a bit creepy, with a large pot belly and greasy hair. He knows exactly what the castle is like, but even he is not prepared for the events of that fateful evening. I'm hoping that this will give me a bit more of exposure as...

At a crossroads?

Hello, These past few week's, I have been thinking. It was painful, and I don't think I will ever do it again, but I was thinking about the future, over what path I will take through the life. So far it's been pretty rough, but I'm hoping for some plainer sailing. It's worth mentioning that I have been working at work for coming up four years now, and while i have enjoyed the time here, it seems recently there are more bad days then good, and usually by quite a high proportion. But it begs the question, is it really greener on the other side? Naturally you always assume it will be. For the world of retail, i get a good wage, but in comparison to most other jobs, its barely a livable amount. I do fourty five hours a week, and still only take home around one thousand two hundred a month. And thats a good month. Now that I am a fully fledged adult, it's worth thinking that I need a better pay packet, and somewhere that respects my creative and personal limits. I...

Crazed?

Well it has been a crazy end to the week. I worked four days, yet managed to cram 45 hours into those four days. Long shifts, coupled with an unhealthy and stimulating work space, have really led to me feeling low this weekend. Lack of progress with my current project, a row with one of my friends and a lack of interaction with others has really made me feel low. This morning when my alarm went off I really needed to cry. Not wanted, Needed. The long hours did me in, I worked 7-8 Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 8 to 5 today. The store was manic with offers, short staffed as always, and no help from management really took it's toll. One hell of a bitch really made me leave on Saturday night feeling like I couldn't go on. The store I work in is such an unimaginative environment, it gives me no drive to get anything done, I just do the things i have to do, rather than wanting to do it and put my own mark on it. That being said, the system is designed to stamp our creativity...
Good evening. It's worth a quick mention that I have a phobia of glass shelves. It may sound strange, but when you work in retail, these things are actually rather normal. The company I work for has a real fetish for glass shelving. And I mean a REAL fetish. They are everywhere, at the top of a wall, the bottom of the wall, hell even in the middle of the wall. They are heavy, awkward to put on the wall, and shatter without warning. So you can imagine how I felt when my manager told me we had to put another million up around the shop. You can understand my panic. Particularly as a first aider, I have first hand experience of trying to sort out the mess when a glass shelf shatters. I'm shuddering as I think about it. But on a happier note, It's my birthday in a week. Im rather excited, especially as it means I have been able to treat myself an insane amount this past week without feeling guilty. In all seriousness though, my card has really taken a beating. I've or...
