Booked My Holidays!

Oh my goodness, I booked my holiday to Bulgaria! I know what you are thinking, someone like me, in charge for a holiday. But thankfully, I went to STA travel, and Rachael helped me book nearly all of it. I am getting very excited now! I've booked six night's in Sofia, in a self catering apartment in the centre of the city, near the metro and the parliament, and then two night's in a beautiful hotel in Varna. There's a three hour train ride to get from Sofia to Varna, so that's not too bad. I just have to book a return flight home, because the only company that flies from Varna to the UK is one that don't book with the travel company, but that's not a problem. We got a fantastic deal as well. I would really recommend STA travel. They were absolutely brilliant, and the staff really do know their stuff! I also got an insurance policy, because you all know exactly what I am like. So if I do break my leg, or loose my passport or anything like that, then at le...

Post Christmas Break

Hello. First of all, apologies for my impromptu leave of absence. The past two weeks have been absolutely whirlwind. I didn't know if I was coming, going or staying. But I hope you all had a nice Christmas. I hope you got what you wanted, and that you spent some good quality time either with family, friends, or yourself. As I always say, there is no shame in enjoying your own company. I did a fair amount of that actually over Christmas. I finished Christmas eve morning, an hour later than I should have done, because of a massive crisis with the jewellery boxes and the flat-pack knitwear. Believe it or not, retail is not easy, not by a long stretch. I then went to the food hall to treat myself to a pastry of some sort, and ended up bumping into Sylvie, who had her knee replaced a couple of weeks ago. She's one of those ladies that hates to be stood around not doing anything for any length of time, so she was up and about like a jack in the box. She's lovely Sylvie, she ...

Something on my mind

Something has been playing on my mind a lot the past couple of days. On Sunday, I saw James, and we cooked dinner together. We had a nice evening, he made me a Moscow mule, I brought the dinner round and we made cheating fritatas and and I told him about the guy I met on Thursday. He didn't seem very interested, which was odd because usually we tell each other about these things. Then as I was getting ready to go home, we spoke a bit more, and he said something like you don't love a lover. As in, you go into a relationship with someone and you become best friends, you don't become lovers. Especially in our world where our kinks are the driving force in the bedroom, not necessarily the intercourse. (Or in my case, not even the intercourse, it's all about the kink) Am I just being a hopeless romantic, or am I maybe even being old fashioned? I want to love someone as my best friend, my soul mate, I want to be with them forever, but I want my kinks to be a apart of that....

A new friend :D

Hi everyone. Sorry it's been so long since the last post. It's just been such a mental two weeks what with constantly changing shifts, not sleeping properly, and just feeling run down. The usual really. I had no big news for you, until today. I got back in contact with a guy I met of Grindr a while back, and that certain circumstances prevented me from meeting up with him. So we had arranged to meet today for the first time. I had chatted to him for a long time, and he wasn't what I expected at all, but actually, in a good way. He is so friendly, charming and really refreshing to talk to. It turned out we had a lot in common, and I am so glad I finally got the chance to meet him. We spent a bit of time talking, then got ourselves set up, and had a good session. He was bloody brilliant. I can't really go into details, but my god did he totally keep me on edge the whole time. It was incredible! And I helped him out with his kink's, so we were both very happy by the...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 30

Wow. I can't believe it's the last post today! I have a bit of news from me, but more after the post. Day 30-One thing you are excited for. One thing? I'm excited about loads of stuff! If I am to say one thing, it is probably planning for my holiday to Bulgaria next October. I'm going to go and get a few quotes next week so I can work out how much I will need and what plans to make. There's quite a lot to do and see in Sofia, so I'm going to have to plan things well so I can see and do everything. It will be the first holiday I have ever organised myself, as well as possibly being the first I go on by myself. So gods knows how it could go! So first of all, Thanks to everyone who has read my blog and followed the 30 day challenge, I've really enjoyed being able to write everyday and to be able to share a bit about myself with you, and also I'm really happy because I logged in today and found my blog has been viewed 1000 times! Thankyou so much everyo...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 29

Eek! It's the penultimate post! Day 29- The night of your 21st birthday. Now this is a sad one. On the actual night of my birthday, I went round Kate's house. We had some pizza, a few drinks, and slouched in front of the tv all night. It sounds boring, but I didn't want to make a big fuss of it, and actually, I really enjoyed spending it with someone I think rocks. And Rosie, Kate's beautiful dog was there, fell asleep on my stomach at about two o'clock. I had a really nice time. We had a little do later that week, me Kim and Sarah for my birthday went to the giddy bridge, had a boozy lunch with a lot of  drinks, and had a bloody good laugh while we were there. There were really kind to me, and had clubbed together with Sandra to get me a mayflower voucher. I'm going to use it to hopefully see Chicago after christmas. Sorry it's only a short post, but I'm on my break and we are about to have our work christmas dinner. I heard there would be a bottl...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 28

Day 28- A word/phrase you use constantly. Now this is an interesting one. I seem to use thing's like "Oh my god" and "What the fuck?" quite a lot. Actually I mean all the time! Now that I try to think of what I actually use all the time, nothing's coming to me. Isn't that bloody typical! I think I'm pretty normal with words otherwise. I say "bloody" a lot, same with "really?" and also "is it?" (The latter in a very sarcastic and narcissistic way). I'l have to update this when I think of some more. But anyway, I've had a very nice evening tonight. I met up with Lucifer for a drink and some dinner at wetherspoons, then went back to his hotel room for a bit. Nothing happened, but we had a good time. Bless he really is a nice guy, and I really enjoy seeing him. On the way home, I brought a tub of ice cream and a scratch card from the co-op, so with any luck I'll be a billionaire by the end of this post. I...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 27

My god is it cold here at the moment. I'm sat in the living room with a jumper and two pairs of trousers, with a throw on top of me, and I'm still bloody freezing. Wish someone would put the heating on Dy 27- What you wore today My god that's brilliant. I didn't even look at today's challenge as I wrote the introduction! Today I am wearing a H&M navy floral kind of top, with grey and black pleather skinny jeans from Zara. Actually I think this is the nicest outfit I own. Well it was nan's birthday dinner so I thought I had better look good for a change. Currently I have a blue granddad jumper and a pair of jogging bottoms, on top. And a green fleece blanket to stop the icicles forming on me. It's one of those thin, but really warm and comfortable blankets that is just the best thing to have on a bed. The meal out was really nice actually. We went to Casa Brasil, a roditizio restaurant in town, and the food was bloody good, even after all the jokes a...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 26

Day 26- Thing's you would say to an ex. There are many things I would like to say, hundreds of questions spring to mind, but one of them really upsets me. What did I do wrong? I feel almost ashamed to think it, because it implies that it was me, that was the reason things went wrong. I mean it probably was me, but it's a horrible way to think of it. At the end of the day, I'm not going to weep and apologize for being the person that I am. It's not going to happen. Also, It mean's that I take full responsibility for everything that ever happened. And quite frankly I'm not going to do that. I can take some responsibility for thing's that happened, but I had my reasons. I know I am not an easy person to get on with, I know I can be selfish, impulsive, brash, and above all, a right cow, but did I deserve everything that was given to me? It's funny, because I tried so hard to please. I really did everything I could to make you happy (And I'm addressin...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 25

Day 25- Four weird trait's you have. Bloody hell this is difficult, I'm having trouble thinking of one! (I don't know if that is a bad or a good thing) 1) I guess the first one is that despite being gay, I am quite homophobic. Like not in a vicious way, but I just really struggle to identify with other gays. I just can't do it. I find most gay people quite obnoxious, rude and very self centred, thing's that I really can't tolerate in people. They probably say the same about me, but I go out of my way to stay away from most other gay men. 2) I am a very addictive person. Once I get into something, that's it, be prepared to never see me again, whether it be music, tv shows, or just anything in general, if I like it, I'm going to do everything I can to get as much as I can. 3) I can't do normal sex. I'm going to be honest, and frank about this one. I can't do it. It's a mix of it just not being my thing, finding it boring, and the simple...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 24

Day 24- Something that you miss. Ahh, this is a sad one. Honestly, something I really miss is summer holidays. I miss wasting the first week by lying in bed the whole time, just getting up to eat, pee and to put another dvd in the player. Then, really going the whole hog, doing everything possible. In the summer holiday's, I used to see my best friend Rachel pretty much every day. We would walk her dog Mungo, make silly video's, eat the most strangest of things, and have a bloody good time without having to worry about working, or homework, or even what time I had to be home for. Every now and again, I go onto Youtube, just to watch some of the ridiculous videos we used to make. Honestly, if anyone saw them now, they would think we had serious problems. That was some of the best times, were down peartree green, or eating the most greasiest spring rolls in my garden, just really silly little things like that. And then unfortunatly, we grew up, and now we don't even get six...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 23

Bloody hell. I have no idea how I am going to manage to get through tonight. I set my alarm for three o'clock, so that when I got into be at nearly 8, I was going to have seven hours. I needed a good sleep, my feet and legs were aching something chronic. At quater past 10, I was rudely awoken by next door's dog barking. After lying there for an hour or so, I managed to drift off, only to be awoken a bit later on by the said next door neighbour, drilling a massive hole through a brick wall. I slammed the window shut, but still couldn't sleep. So I ended up, just lying there, sort of passing in and out of dozing. I gave up on that, and got ready. I had to go pay my credit card at the bank, and then get some bit's in town, and treated myself to a burrito. Now I'm sat at work, really struggling to keep my eyes open. It's a boring night too. I've done all the moves and bits already, so now it's just tidying and standards all night. Oh god oh god oh god. Still...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 22

Day 22- Your morning routine. My morning routine? It's fairly simple really. My alarm goes off, I usually snooze it a couple of times, I then sort myself out (Yes like that). Then I get up, have a shower, clean my teeth (Because I don't eat first thing in the morning). I then get dressed, have a glass of water, and then leave for work. I tend to do thing's like washing my face and moisterizing either in the evening, or I have a big moisterizing session on my day off. That way I can have a nice relaxing bath, read a book, and have a glass of prosecco :D That was a nice easy one. I'm back at work, tonight sorting sale into trousers and tops, while size tidying it. Yes it as exciting as it sounds. The I have to tidy essentials and fit all the jogging bottoms in, and then to put out all the new Collette collection. Then it's just tidying, and repro to finish the night. No pressure then!

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 21

Day 21-Your Zodiac or horoscope and if you think it fits you. I'm a Gemini, but aside from that I have no idea. I'm going to Google what being a Gemini is and we shall go from there. http://www.astrology.com/article/zodiac-signs-gemini-sun-sign.html Here we go. So apparently: Gemini's love to talk, but not idle chatter. Okay so this one is pretty close. I love to talk about issues, new things, new experiences, but I can't be doing with boring pleasantries and what not. 1/1 Gemini's are intellectually inclined. Yes okay this one too. While I am not much of an academic, I love searching for new and interesting information. Quite often late at night I'm sat on my bed with my laptop going through hundreds of Wikipedia pages about anything and everything, trying to remember as much as I can. 2/2 Gemini's have a surplus of imagination. Now we are talking. My mind races faster than the wind, and trying to keep up with it is near impossible. I think that...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 20

Day 20- Put your iPod on shuffle and write the first 3 songs that play and what your thought is. Well this should be a nice on to do. Okay so the first song that played is Something, by Dutch band Lasgo. I'd never actually heard this song, til I was round Sarah's one night, probably before a night out, so we were no doubt stuffing our faces with Chinese food and drinking, while having a gossip fest. It was playing on clubland tv (A channel I usually try my best to avoid) and instantly I fell in love with the song. It's got this proper good, sort of synth accent running the whole way through it, and it's bloody catchy. It's got such a good baseline it's brilliant for a night shift, blaring it loudly over my speakers. Next up we have Fame by Irene Cara. I am stretching and putting my leg warmer's on as we speak. A relative newcomer to my itunes, it's a bloody catchy song, and it's so hard not to scream the lyric's while you do a handstand/back ...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 19

Hello, good evening, I hope everyone is well. Me and mum survived a trip to Salisbury together today, and I didn't even try to leave her there! More from me, after the post. Day 19- Five fears that you have. 1) That I will never earn enough money to be able to live well. For me, I want to own my own home, that is one of my man goals. But I really worry whether I will actually be able to do it by myself. I don't want to rent, and unless I'm with someone, I don't want to be buying with someone I don't really know. I just need my own space, somewhere I can breathe, I can be creative, I don't have to let silly thing's worry me, and I can have a good time. 2)That I will be stuck at work forever. I think that's a fear many people have. I have nothing against working, in fact I love to work, and I love that I feel needed while I am there, but I just can't deal with the constant crap there, and I need to be somewhere that treats it's employees with r...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 18

So I survived my week of horrendous night-shifts, but more on that after today's post. Day 18- Your favourite colour and why. Now this is a difficult one. I like a lot of colours, and I couldn't really tell you why. I suppose it's something to do with the way our brain's perceive colour, and how we emotionally react to them. For me, black is one of my favourite colours. It's bold, clean, safe, and above all, a very comfortable colour. There are some colours I would love to wear, but am not able to, but mixed with black they look really good, and I feel able to wear them. I also love rich opulent purples, electric blue, most green colours, absolutely adore plum, if only I could have more plum coloured stuff in my wardrobe. I love plum, it's just a bit more edgy than black, and it has a real contrast with my pale skin which I really like. I like grey, but only as a small break between big colour's, or as accent's on dark coloured clothing. That was ...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 17

Day 17- A quote you try to live by. The quote I try to live by, "Is try everything once". There is so much to experience in this world, it really bug's me when people don't want to try new things. Fair enough, there will always be something that will push your limit's too far, and that's okay, but 99% of the time, you have to try it. You never know, you might enjoy it a lot. I never thought I would enjoy night shifts, I remember my manager Jennie asking me to do one once, and I was really apprehensive about it, but by god did I catch the bug. I now prefer working night's to days, and I enjoy them (most of the time) Same as when I first met James. We went to pitcher and piano for dinner and some drinks. I was really not impressed. We had been chatting for a while, and I didn't think much of him, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. The date was okay, a bit awkward in places. Then he messaged me saying he had really enjoyed himself. We chatted for a...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 16

Hi everyone, Sorry it's a bit late, I've had two simply horrendous night shift's in a row, and I had just had enough of everything for a little bit. More from me, after the post. Day 16- Bullet your entire day. I'll do last night's shift, while the horror's of it are still fresh in my mind. So I started at six, and was wearing uniform, like I was told to. Apparently, people in plain clothes send out the wrong message when they are working with the store still open. So I was told to wear uniform while we are open. But oddly, nobody else was told this, so Kate and the people in on home ware were in civvies. Funny that. But anyway, we started by taking all the casual clothes off the counter's of the front part of per una. Masses and masses of the damn things. Then we moved the counter's about, to create a trendzone at the front, tall spaces for the jumpsuit's, all the while separating black from navy, and duck egg from red. That wasn't too bad....

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 15

Day 15- Three pet peeves. OOOOHHHHH. Now where do we start! It's hard to limit myself to just three, but here we go. The first, is when people are so English centric, it is stupid. I told somebody at work about the Returned last week, and they were really interested until I mentioned it was in French, but it was subtitled. "Oh I won't bother then. I can't be bothered to read the whole way through. Is there an English dubbed version?" "No, but the subtitles arn't too fast, and it's a well told story, so they are just to fill any gaps really" "Nahh, mind you if it's French it's probably bloody pretentious" Seething didn't even come close to it. But it's the same for a lot of thing's. Because it isn't in English, people don't give a damn, and it blimming winds me up. There is so much else out there, music, literature, even film wise, and you are missing out on so much! The second, is the people that are e...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 14

Day 14- Your life in seven years. Seven years is a long time if you think about it, a lot can change, and a lot can happen. So in seven year's, I will be 28. I will have had seven birthday's, 84 payday's, thousand's of drinks, million's of breaths, maybe a billion heartbeat's, quite a scary thought really! In seven year's I would like to be in a great job, doing something I love, whether it be as a writer, a television presenter, heck even a designer of some sort. In seven year's I hope to have my own house, somewhere where I can have friend's around to stay the night, room for ridiculous idea's and adventures, a giant bathtub, and a disco floor in the kitchen for parties. But also I hope to be settling down at that point, planning a wedding, and thinking about maybe having children. (That is a huge maybe though) I want to have been to some amazing place's, and hopefully will have somewhere nice planned to go to. I want to have tried many ...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 13

Hello everyone! Sorry I'm a tad late, but I got distracted looking at some nice new underwear! More from me, after today's blog post. Day 13- Your commute to work and from work Ooh now this is a nice easy one. Basically I live in Woolston, and like virtually all other Woolstonian's, we all work in Southampton city centre. I always catch a bus from the bridge link road station, and I have a plethora of possible buses to catch. There's the 6, the 11, the 3, the X4 and the X5. Usually it's either the 11 or the 3 because the are the most frequent, but it can be any of them. The bus goes over the Itchen bridge, and while we are there, I either look out the window at all the ship's in the docks, or if it's dark then I play on the coin dozer game on my phone. Normally I sit by myself, but quite often there's someone I know on the bus, so I sit with them and have a good old chat. All the buses except the 11 go through Ocean village. Someone always gets on out...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 12

Good afternoon. I'm in a moment of calm, so I thought I might as well do a quick blog post, more from me, after  today's challenge. Day 11- Two word's/phrase's that make you laugh Well first off, my most favourite phrase is "Not my circus, not my monkey" was something a lady I used to work with said all the time. She first said it to me (in polish) when a manager came and asked us both to tidy the footwear section. When she told me what it meant, I spent most of the half an hour tidying shoes in absolute hysteric's, and it's a phrase I try and use all the time if I can. I word I love is the word plunge, and anything that rhymes with it. It has such a beautiful quality, and it really roll off the tongue well. To be honest, I love words that really exercise your mouth and have two big sound's in them. moist is another one, as is broken, and also humming. Simple pleasures! But it's been a rather crazy day today. I saw James last night, and ...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 11

Good evening/morning, wherever you are. Today's blog post comes with a mix of pleasure (Kate Bush's Running up that Hill is playing) and pain (I managed to slice my finger open on a coat hanger, and I have no idea how). So lets see how this goes. Day 11-Your current relationship, if single discuss that too. Well a question like this was inevitable wasn't it. And if I am brutally honest, I have no idea. I havn't yet had the formal question asked yet, and it is avoided when I do try to bring it up. I've known James for about 18 months now, and we have done a lot of thing's together, but we've never had a picture taken together, he only holds my hand when we are alone. I don't even have his wifi password, although that bit isn't really important. I never know if I am coming or going. He kinds of hint's at thing's, like he sort of offered me a room at his new place when he moves in, but it was like a by the by comment, I didn't understand ...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 10

Day 10- A fruit you dislike and why. Pineapples. They are absolutely disgusting. They are so sickly sweet, and they leave a weird after taste in your mouth. I hate the look, the feel and the smell of them. The only time I can even have them near me is when they are in a sweet and sour sauce, but even then I have to pick them out and discard them away from my plate. I honestly hate them with a passion. I remember someone making me a pineapple and mango cocktail once, and I couldn't drink it. Not even the copious amount's of rum could make me keep the drink. Now that you all know about my passionate hate for pineapple, I feel it's time to move on, and celebrate 10 day's of consecutive blogging. I am bloody proud of myself, even though some are quite short, other's really random, I'm enjoying it so far! I'm running a bit late for work so only a short one today, but I'm off tomorrow night, and I'm sure we shall have lot's to talk about then :)

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 9

Well here I am on the night shift again, are you even surprised anymore? More from me, after today's writing challenge. Day 9- Your feeling's on ageism. To me, as a young person, I feel ageism is a very real and difficult obstacle to overcome. Especially in the field of working. When you are young, you have no experience, but because you have no experience, nowhere is willing to give you a try. You understand my fustration's? It's much easier to give the job to someone older, who has experience and will do thing's a certain way, but usually, you need fresh eye's, and fresh talent involved, but most companies and institution's are reluctant to hire young people. Whether it is just a lack of experience, or whether they really do believe us all to be lambrini drinking yob's, or even if it's just at the end of the day, they don't want our mum's becoming involved in thing's, I simply don't know. Ageism is worse this end, because there i...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 8

Good morning! (Or afternoon, I'm not really sure what is what any more!) Day 8- A book you love, and one you didn't. Gosh now this is a difficult one, I love books, and picking out one is impossible. One book I have read many times, and thoroughly enjoy each time, is The Time Traveller's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. It is an absolutely beautiful book. In case anyone hasn't read it, I won't go into details, but you really get a feel for one of the main characters, Claire. While her husband is disappearing and reappearing at random intervals, she is left to cope and make sure her world, and their daughter's, remains stable. It's a heart wrenching book, it really is, and it is written is such a caring, yet brutal style, you don't know whether you are coming or going, and neither do the characters. A book I really didn't like was the last Harry Potter book. Actually make that the last two. The series was so strong up to that point, it was inevitable...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 7

Good evening, I hope everyone is doing okay. Here's day 7, and I'll have a wee chat with you afterwards. Day 7- What tattoo's you have and if they have meaning. Believe it or not, I don't actually have any tattoo's, although I would like a little token one somewhere. Something, a little bit kooky, a bit different, something a bit odd. I guess I had better start thinking of a design then! Although not a tattoo, but a permanent mark, I do have a scar on my forehead from when I was about twelve, thirteen, from a rope swing. My granddad had tied a big chunk of wood to a tree branch at the bottom of the garden, and we all used to swing on it like over excited chimps. In fact, I think it's still there. But my cousin's were on it, and one of them swung it, and it smacked me right in the forehead. Two inches lower, and I would have been blinded in one eye. I remember the blood spurting out my head, and my aunt rushing me up to the house. Needless to say, I had a...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 6

Day 6-Someone who fascinates you and why. Now this is an interesting question, there are many people that fascinate me, like notable people, Yulia Tymoshenko, Barack Obama, even Lenin. There are celebrities, Like Nicola Robert's, Sofiya Rotaru, and even people close to me, Like my mum, My friend Sarah, and Doreen from work. But someone who really fascinates me is myself. Now this must sound very big headed, but I think we can all agree. We (ourselves) are the most fascinating people, because we know so much about ourselves, yet we know so little. We all have those moment's when we do thing's, and have no idea why. We like thing's without any reason why, and we find thing's scary for no apparent reason. Take me for example. I grew up in a working class family, my parent's working in low income jobs to give us a small but nice house to live in. We did normal thing's, like watch tv on a Saturday morning before visiting my grandparents, we went out for day...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 5

Phew! This is getting good now isn't it? Never thought I had this much commitment in me! Day Five- A place you would live, but have never visited. Wow. Now this is a big question. In all honesty, I find it extremely difficult to select ten places, let alone one! My biggest wish is to go to Belgrade, I'm saving up for my career break at the moment and I hope to visit there soon. I would love to live there, to spend load's of time there sampling everything it has to offer. But also, I'd love to live in Talinn, Mumbai, Cartagena, load's of different places. But to be fair, How can you agree to live in a place without ever visiting it? Now I'm thinking with my responsible adult head on! I would love to live in London, that's a bit more realistic, even though I have visited quite a few times. I'm sorry for the short post, but I'm quite pushed for time today. But I'll give you a big one tomorrow :)

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 4

Well hello, I must say this is becoming a bit of a regular habit isn't it? ;) Day 4- Ten interesting fact's about yourself. Oh dear, this could be a difficult one. Fact 1. My friend's dog Atticus, has an addiction to humping my leg every time he sees me. I don't know what it is, but I must be irresistible to dogs. Fact 2. One of my dream's to is present a nation's vote's at the Eurovision Song Contest. (I would perform, but I want to give everyone else a chance). Preferably the Uk but I think San Marino is the most likely option. Fact 3. I spent over £1,200 on a leather straight jacket and had it shipped form America, even though I was single at the time and it is hardly ever used :(. Saying that, I have an addiction for buying sexy underwear, sleazy gear and scary toys. Fact 4. Despite being over six foot tall and built like a soldier, I am still called Miss, and young lady far too frequently. Literally I get this all the time at work. Here's to...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 3

Good afternoon. It's day three, so here is today's post. Day Three- Your first love, and your first Kiss, if separate discuss both. Well these are becoming a bit personal aren't they! I guess tomorrow's ill give you my credit card number's, my pin, my national insurance number's and anything else you want! I'll start with the kiss. The first time I ever kissed someone, was when I was a kid, and I kissed my friend. She was a girl, we were really close friend's, but it was just a peck on the lips. It didn't mean anything, and I was just starting to realize it wasn't for me. My first proper kiss was with my first ever boyfriend. He was such an amazing guy he really was. It was the summer holiday's after we had finished school, we had ages to go til we started college, so we hung out a lot together. I'd fancied him for quite a while, and he was openly gay, whereas I was still trying to come to term's with it. It all started when...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 2

Well this is a new record, blogging two days in a row. I am impressed! Day two- My earliest memory. Now contrary to popular opinion, I am a normal person. (Tell me something you didn't know I hear you say). My earliest memory is when I was either three or four, and going to the civic centre to lay flowers for Princess Diana. I remember holding some flower's in one hand, and holding mum's hand in the other, and placing them on the floor in front of the steps. The most vivid part, was the sheer amount of colour. Every colour was there, even one's I didn't even know at the time. They were all over the step's, on the top of the stairs against the doors, they were on the floor in the car park, simply everywhere. I didn't understand why they were there, and I didn't get what was going on, but I knew it was something important, and that it meant a lot to everyone that was there. The reason I wanted to say I am normal is that I remember it, just like everyo...

Thirty Day Writing Challenge- Day 1

Well hello, good afternoon and a hearty welcome to the first day of my thirty day writing challenge. I saw a post on Facebook, one of those ones you usually take no notice of and skip past, but for some reason this one caught my attention. So I figured it might do me some good to write in a more structured way for a month. So here goes. Day one- Five problem's with social media. Well where on earth do I begin? First of all, I'm going to be brave and list every social media that I have an account with. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Grindr, Plenty of Fish, Snapchat, Tinder, Recon, Youtube, Instagram, Xtube, Blogger, Hangouts (never used), Whattsapp, and of course my email's. That might seem like a lot, but actually it's not. Many of my friend's have social media sites that reach nearly fifty in number. I wanted to list them, so you're aware of what I use. Not to stalk/follow me, but because it shows I am a normal young person. For example. Content that I post o...

Night shifting, Night blogging, Night grooving...

Hello. As you can probably gain from the post title, I'm working a night shift again. (If you didn't gain it, then shame on you) Not much has changed from the last time I blogged. I'm still on my strange path to wherever it's going, and I'm just merrily following it. Best way to be really. I've worked three night's this week, then I will be back to day's until the 1st of november, then I will be on night's up to christmas weeks. It's odd, in the thought that I've been looking forward to them since august time, and now here we go! The good thing about night's is that I can play my own music. I've been dancing (and bouncing, swaying and jumping) about all night, and no doubt will be giving the secuirty guards something to chuckle at when they look at the camera footage in the morning. Thats the odd thing with night's, you are never quite sure what the time of day is. Like right now it feel's like mid afternoon to me. I...

What a dreary week

It's been one of those weeks. I finished my three night shift's to launch the Christmas shop at work. A big shout out to Natalie and Cathy, who kept me sane while I went through thousand's of cages and boxes of bedding. God it was awful. It didnt help that while we were on our night shift there were two, maybe three people who were not pulling thier weight. Or really even trying if I am absolutely honest. But ah well, I mustn't let these thing's get to me. Lucifer was in a spot of trouble, his cage was cutting into him, so Tuesday morning (after a slight mix up) I gave him the key's back. Being someone's key holder is a very strange concept. There is so much responsibility, I had to keep checking the key's were there every half an hour I was at home, I was so scared of loosing them. We met up a couple of day's later, and he told me he was moving to Plymouth, just temporarily, while he did his qualifications. He asked me to look after his device fo...

Goodbye

Goodbye's are horrible. Today was Linda's last day. I have had the great pleasure of working with Linda for the four years I have been here, and to see her go absolutly cuts me. She has an incredible sense of humour, and is a brilliant person to be around. My favourate memory of Linda was when she asked me what a hastag was, after I explained, she asked if you could have anything as a hashtag. I said yes, and she proceeded to say #Steve'sWindow. The commented absolutly creased me up, because I wasn't expecting anything like that at all. We've had several in joke's, ranging from Pat Twigg the psychic, to a discussion of wet wig's, and then laughing so much not being able to pronounce it, instead saying "wetwog" If you are ever reading this Linda, thankyou so much for the laugh's we have had. I wish you all the best at your new store in Cheltenham, and that life is blissful and sweet. Goodbye's are horrible, but new start's are go...

A very interesting weekend.

Hallo! As it so happen's, im on a night shift again. This time for homeware, launching the crhristmas gift shop. Oh god christmas, it seems to get worse every year. It get's busier, standards get higher, yet it's just little old me trying to hold everything together. Great fun you could say. Ive had a very interesting weekend. I stayed the night at Donnington spa near newbury, and it was a lovely hotel. I went with James and things were going well. He even told me about job opportunities where he worked, and maybe suggested the idea that I apply for a job there. It's not the first time we've talked about it, but it seemed like a serious suggestion. We had a few glasses of wine and went back to the room. Im not entirely sure what happened, but I was lying on the bed and he sort of leant on top of me to try to come onto me, but I sort of flinched and elbowed him in the eye. I felt awful, I apologized and held a cold compress on it for him. We didn't really spe...
