Countdown

Would you believe it, but I'm on another night shift. It seems I am rather addicted to doing them, although right now there is no place I would rather more be than in bed. Snuggling under the duvet, surrounded by pillows and throws and cushions and the like.
But I'm not. Instead I am sat at a computer with a rather sticky keyboard, writing about my day. I guess it's a good compromise.

Work has been strangely quiet the last couple of days. I mean so quiet, that I even started changing the size pips on the coathangers, so they were actually right. That's how quiet it was. The only time we ever do that is in the lay months of january and february after the sales have gone. It was stressing me out, because once I started, that was it. Trousers was a mess, except for the straight leg and the tapered crops/ 7/8ths. Only because I had already sized those at an earlier interval in the day.

Also, Thursday I spent the day relaying Indigo, making it look as beautiful as it could (which is no mean feat, considering how everything is either floral or paisley, in either khaki or mint green). I think I should get an award for that.
Yesterday me and Becky relaid tailoring, and then today I did dresses and formal tops, all the while causing chaos in the process. But would you expect anything less from me?

Anyway, it's my travelling plans that are the main topic of thought this week. I just can't decide what to do. Do I risk spending all my money travelling though europe, then on expensive flights and accommodation in Israel and Beirut, or do I go to India first, and do what I can later? And bless him, James said he would like to come and do the first two weeks or so with me, so I need to make sure it's somewhere he will both enjoy, and feel comfortable doing. Maybe Italy? Start in Rome and maybe move up to Venice, and then on to Ljubljana? I'll have to put it to him and see what he thinks. Trouble is, I have no idea how long you would need in Rome. Supposedly you could spend a lifetime there and still not find everything, as the tour guide said when I visited on holiday.

I think we need to talk about it at some point over the week. I've got, yet again, a massively busy week, and it seems like there's going to be no respite either for now. Saying that though, there's not long to go. Only 97 days til we go on holiday to Bulgaria (something else I should really be planning for) and 215 til I go travelling. That is going to fly by, and it's going to catch me by surprise if I am not careful.

But there we go, I shall catch up with you all later on.
