He misses Sahira more than the Sahara misses rain- part 6

Yana gave Greg a cool look. "An apple? Whats the big deal with an apple?"
Greg gave an exasperated sigh. "Because Yana, it means something, first he gave me socks, now he's giving me apples!"
"Greg, will you actually listen to yourself? Do you even know what your saying any more???" Yana groaned.
"Good morning Mr Douglas and Ms Churikova, perhaps, instead of standing here talking about apples and what Mr Douglas gets up to with his companions, maybe you could go to bed three where Mr Greene has just coughed up a section of his lung.
Yana and Greg both ran off to help Mr Greene, while Mr Edwards stood there, silently studying them. He had heard some interesting reports from other members of staff about Greg Douglas, and his, womanizing habits. A complaint had already been lodged by an emergency room nurse, and Mr Edwards was going to be keeping a close eye, not just on Greg, but also on Yana. This hospital couldn't survive another scandal, and so Mr Edwards had to keep his staff on a tight leash. He walked back to his office, to prepare his presentation about pioneering new techniques in aortic surgery that afternoon.

Greg was covered in blood and lung tissue, so he went to the locker room to get changed.
"Sorry" he said, as he opened the door, to see Devon just getting changed. Their eyes met for a second, before Greg's were drawn to a colossal bruise, which stretched all across Devon's lower back. Devon hastily pulled his scrubs down to cover it, tied his long black hair into a ponytail and went to sit at the table with a sandwich.
"That looks painful" Greg commented, while fumbling around for his locker key.
Devon nodded. "Yeah, I fell down the stairs day before yesterday"
"Were you drunk?" Greg said, slamming his locker shut in frustration as there were no clean scrubs in there.
Devon shook his head. "No, I tripped on a towel I left on the top step. I'm such a klutz it's unbelievable" he added with a giggle.
"Oh ok" Greg replied, and left the room to get some clean scrubs from the laundry room.
Greg was just waiting for the lift, when a drunk man staggered passed him, singing Barbie Girl.
"You ok mate?" Greg asked, "you can't be drunk in here"
The man seemed to take offence to this. "what, you think i'm drunk you Irish twat?"
Just then Devon bounced around the corner. "Greg you left your keys in your lock-"
"DEVON!" the drunk man shouted and swept a very surprised looking Devon up into a big bear hug.
"oh...hi Johnnie, what are you doing here?" Devon asked, and then mouthed help me at Greg. He seemed surprised by this, as they obviously knew each other.
"I've come to see you haven't I! at your hospital!" Johnnie shouted, still holding Devon in a vice like grip.
"It's not really my hospital hunnie" Devon wheezed. Greg could tell something wasn't quite right here.
"Come on" he said, gently tapping Johnnie on the arm. "Put down Devon and we'll get you a drink".
The only thing louder than Devon's scream was the clang as Greg was shoved into the lift doors. Devon fell from Johnnie's grasp and hit the floor with a sickening crunch. Greg sat on the floor for a moment, reeling from the blow, he could see stars and his nose was throbbing. Johnnie towered over him, he was built like a tank, easily six and a half feet maybe more.
"well what you gonna do about it?" Johnnie grunted.
"Oh my goodness Greg are you ok?" Devon asked, crawling to where Greg was sat with a tissue. "here take this" Handing Greg the tissue, who held his nose to stop it bleeding.
"What the hell is wrong with you Johnnie?" Devon asked angrily. "Why do you always do this?"
"OH shut the fuck up will you?" Johnnie said as he sent Devon flying down the corridor with one swipe of his bulky arm.He walked down to where Devon was laid, and crouched down. "You never could take a punch" Johnnie said, and spat in Devon's hair.
"I think you need to" Greg started to say, before a blow to the heard silenced him, and he collapsed to the floor unconscious.
"Greg!" Devon screamed. "NO! get off me!" He screamed again as Johnnie grabbed his foot.
"Come on Dev Dev, lets go for a walk somewhere" and hoisted Devon up onto his shoulders, before opening the door to the stairwell.
