He misses Sahira more than the Sahara misses rain (part 2)
There was no other way about it.Greg wasn't gay, but he could see the attraction. This new consultant had perfectly straight hair, and cheekbones that rivaled even Jac Naylors.
"Hello" the consultant said. He had such a quiet, flirtatious voice, yet there was a hint of real power in there somewhere.
Greg was aware that his mouth was open and he was gawping like a goldfisch.
"Hello?" the consultant said again, a slight confused frown playing around his flawless forehead.
"Greg" Yana hissed at Greg, and elbowed him. "Hi, i'm Yana" she said, holding out a hand. Greg noted that angry glare in her eyes when she was jealous.
"Hello Yana, nice to meet you. I'm Devon" the consultant replied, giving her a warm smile. God does he have nice lips, Greg thought to himself. they were big, almost like little pillows.
"Yes, and i be Greg! How arrr you?" Greg said. Yana just stared blankly at him. Oh god not this again. When Greg gets really nervous, he takes on a sort of Pirate twang. It happened the first time he and Sahira kissed in the locker-room back at Holby.
"I'm fine thank you" Devon said, pursing his lips a little, unsure of what Greg meant.
"oh ignore him he's just being a prat" Yana told Devon, who nodded.
"Well in that case, i don't think it's a safe idea having Mr Douglas on the ward then" Mr Edwards said."Ms Churikova, if you would like to come with me, I have some paperwork for you to help me with, and Greg, kindly give Devon a tour of the hospital please. That is all"
Yana made a scowling face at Greg before following Mr Edwards out to his office upstairs.Greg turned to Devon.
"ummm, so shall I start in the locker room? then ye, no you can put your stuff in a locker" he turned quickly on his heel, trying to avoid Devon seeing his blushing Face. Devon slowly followed Greg into the staff room.
"This is cosy" He said, gently placing his bag on the table.
"It's not much" Greg moaned, his leg vibrating.
He gave a gasp and grabbed at his leg.
Devon jumped. "Are you ok?" he asked, moving forward to help Greg up, who was lying on the floor.
"Yeah, sorry i'm fine, my mobiles just gone off, made me jump".
"Oh okay" Devon said, picking up his bag. there was a loud tearing sound, and the bottom of the bag ripped, sending the contents out all over the floor. "oh god!" Devon exclaimed, and bent down to pick things up. "Do you have a bag or something I can borrow?" he asked Greg.
Greg grabbed a bag off the counter and placed it on the floor. Devon was throwing things in, a wallet, a mobile, a lollipop, bits of paper.
Greg threw in a chap stick, an arrow-word book and a pen, before reaching the Apple.
It was a golden red colour, and it reflected the light brilliantly, like it was a polished diamond. It was perfect, smooth to the touch, and it gave off a gentle sweet smell.
Greg looked up to see Devon looking at him with his head at an angle, his long black hair gently cascading down his arms and chest.
"It's just an Apple" Devon said, giving Greg a friendly smile, but his eyes said something more. Greg was captivated, and stared into Devon's bright emerald green eyes. Devon leaned forward and gently took the apple from Greg's hand. They were so close, all Greg could see was Devon. Devon gave a wickedly flirty giggle, and took a bite from the Apple, it oozed juice outwards, and it ran over Devon's perfect fingers.
And then Greg was on him, biting the Apple, desperate to get some of this forbidden fruit. He gently pushed Devon onto his back, and kissed him gently. He felt Devon give a moan of anticipation. Greg kissed again, only harder this time, he squeezed the Apple, feeling it's juice run down his arm.
"It's just an Apple" Devon said again. "Can I have it back?". Greg looked down at the untouched Apple in his hand.
"Errr...yeah...sure thing" he said, handing it over to Devon, who gave a childlike but innocent giggle.
"You seem to spend a lot of time in your own world" Devon told him, smiling.
All Greg could taste was Apple.
