Bag it up!

It seems the old classics are still just as good as they always were, although say that you like Geri Halliwell now and you run the risk of being deemed "socially unacceptable". I'm listening to Bag it up, one of my favourite songs from Geri's album Schizophrenic, which I used to listen every week while preparing the newspapers for my paper round.

But that's by the by. I wanted to follow up with the non English number ones for you, which I have just googled.

So I managed to get two out of six. Not bad, although I am disappointed I didn't manage to get We speak no Americano. I knew there was a German language number one (Falco) But I couldn't remember if it was Ein Bissen frieden by Nicole, or 99 luftballons by Nena. And rather amusingly it was neither, although both were number one with the English translations. I did ask Becky what she thought and she thought one by Vannessa Paradis might have been.

I think the other bit of new I have is about Sam. After blocking him on Whatsapp for two days, I unblocked him last night. He then decided to send me a stupid meme picture of someone from lord of the rings making an ok sign with his fingers, and the caption read "One does not simply get is anus spread this wide".

I am so utterly repulsed and saddened, because I gave him one final chance, and he used it to disrespect me yet again. So I am now vowing to never unblock him again, and I am going to delete and block him from every social media I have now, because there is just no way back now. It's a shame, but I can't have toxic people around me. It's just not fair.

But as I always find myself telling people, You have to keep going. And I hate taking my own advice, because usually it's the biggest load of crap ever.

I've also just changed my profile picture. The photo of me that was there is probably three, if not four years old, so I thought I would use a different one that I love of me. I took it when I was at a hotel down Portsmouth way for the night with James. I like it because it is a cheeky photo and I don't look too awful!

Anyway I'm working the night shift tonight for our bi-annual stocktake. I start at six, and since I managed to lose my bus ticket I need to walk in, as I spent a tad too much on my credit card last month and so I emptied my account to try and clear off as much as possible.
