Tarragona Part Five

Can you believe that there was anything left to do in Tarragona? There wasn't much left, and I really didn't want to leave! Luckily, there was two last places to visit. The first was the archaeological museum. Although it is closed for restoration, there is a collection based around some of the most notable exhibits in the Tinglado 4, in the port area. It's small and you can breeze through it, but it will be worth waiting for the museum to reopen fully as it sounds like it's going to be amazing!

Also, it seems like the port area is also being redeveloped, worth keeping an eye out for when its finished to see what's it's like. There was this fun train in the area that seems to be finished.
Finally, there's the Tarragona Necropolis (often called the Early Christian Museum) is a large museum housing many interesting artefacts related to death and burial in the early Christian years. It's a shame more visitors don't come here, its beautifully laid out, with the excavations open for you to see. There's also plenty of cats to guide you round as well!

So that completes my trip to Tarragona! It's truly a city that must be visited. But I was going to continue my Spanish adventure by heading down the coast to Valencia!
